I think I am going to be sorry tomorrow morning when I have to get up at quarter after 5. I volunteered to cover the command center at 6am. Good thing is that I only have to stay until 10. Now, if I can only fall asleep.

Todd and I and I brought Aidan to King Richard’s Faire two weeks ago. He had so much fun. He got to ride a pony, this crazy swing with Jen and Thomas and also see some really big Tigers and Ligers. We had some people with us too Jason, Shawn, Pauline, Kyle, Jen, Duane and Thomas.

I miss PAX and Seattle. I got a Nintendo DS to comfort me in this time of extreme sadness and longing. I have adorned it with stickers, with special thanks to Freezepop at PAX and Necronomico

We we went over Todd’s parents house this evening to see them and I was playing with the nephew. He likes to play hide and go seek some times. His idea of hiding, is going to the same spot every time while you pretend to hunt around looking for him. His idea of seeking is not that detailed either, he will just take a cursory glance in the room and decide you are not there and subsequently enlist the help of others to find you.  :)

So today we started packing up our desks to move the contents downstairs to our new home. This home is less than ideal but it is what it is. Anyway. I go to start taking some files out of my filing cabinet and i get a monster paper cut from a file folder in the drawer. Then a little later on the same finger is stabbed with the pins on one of those cubicle clips that attach to the fabric of the walls. Same finger. Not sure how that happened but I am waiting now for the third injury to happen to that finger.

I start singing a a song and Michele says. “Disturbia!” To which I respond “I wasn’t listening to your music, I was singing the song in my head.” She said back, “I’m surprised you could hear it over all the voices.”

I nearly pissed my pants.
